Jane Masseystudied graphic design at Kingston University and worked for agencies in London and Hong Kong before choosing to focus on illustration. In addition to illustrating over 60 children's books, Jane has created illustrations for packaging, stationery and advertisements.

Jane's character, Florence Frizzball, was recently engraved on a telecommunications satellite that was sent into space.

The little girl and dog in Jane's drawings originated as doodles on Jane's Instagram feed.

Jane was encouraged by the enthusiasm of her subscribers to continue developing them.

They now appear in a comic strip for young children called Petiote, published by Éditions Nathan.

Jane lives in a place called Hove on the south coast of England.
